Our team of Education Managers are responsible for ensuring the success of our premium private tuition programmes. We only hire champions who dominated academically in high school, and once they have proven themselves, they take responsibility for your child’s success — assessing, planning, supervising and course-correcting every programme.

Buhle KegopotsemangEducation Leader

Buhle matriculated from Curro Hazeldean High School with four distinctions, where she served as Deputy Head Girl. She was the first student at her school to earn provincial colours in netball and competed provincially from Grade 6 through to matric. She completed her BSc in Human Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology at the University of Pretoria, followed by an Honours degree in Medical Physiology at Stellenbosch University with distinction. She also served as Health and Wellness Officer on the Tygerberg Postgraduate Student Council. She is a patient, energetic, and natural leader who works well with children of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, jogging, and staying active through sport.

Jessica attended Roedean School before moving to Melbourne, Australia, where she completed the Victoria Certificate of Education at St Leonard’s College in 2019. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of Cape Town in 2022 and a BA Honours in Psychology with Distinction from Varsity College in 2023. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with loved ones, walking, cooking, watching films, and delving into all things psychology.

Robyn has worked with learners across primary and high school levels as a tutor, mentor and sports coach, providing individualised academic guidance in subjects including Mathematics, English and Afrikaans FAL while helping students build confidence, motivation and effective study habits. In her matric year Robyn was Head Girl and matriculated with Academic Honours, Full Colours for Public Speaking and was an avid athlete at school. After school, Robyn completed a BA in Psychology and Industrial Psychology with distinction (Cum Laude) and studying toward a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, while balancing an active lifestyle and enjoying time with friends and family. She is motivated by helping students feel understood, supported and empowered to grow academically and personally.

Shannon matriculated at Crawford College with 4 A's. Shannon is currently in the final year of her Masters in Counselling Psychology, where she is completing her dissertation and preparing for board examinations. She completed her BAppSoci (with distinction) and BSocSci Honours (cum laude) at SACAP while working as an Education Leader at Genius. Shannon previously studied a BA in English Literature at UCT, taught English as a Second Language in Vietnam, and ran a homeschool preparatory school during the COVID-19 lockdowns. In her free time, Shannon enjoys yoga, gardening, painting, going to the theatre, watersports and reading. Shannon has tutored more than 280 hours with Genius.

She graduated from Tuks in an undergraduate degree of social sciences and a post graduate degree in history. Zané enjoys arts and crafts in her spare time and appreciates theatre.

Caitlin matriculated with 8 A’s and completed her BSc degree in Psychology and Human Anatomy & Physiology (received with distinction) at the University of Cape Town in 2022. Following her passion for holistic well-being and working with people, she completed her BSocSci Honours in Psychology at SACAP in 2025. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys spending time in nature, singing and writing music, time with friends, and practicing yoga.

This is Jason. He matriculated from Parktown Boys High School and then went on to study at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Health Sciences and a postgraduate honours degree in biokinetics. He is currently completing his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). He worked as a biokineticist for 3 years, training students and interns before transitioning into the educational workspace, where he worked for 5 years in STEAM education and coding and robotics. In his spare time, he loves spending time with family and friends, especially when activities involve being outdoors and being active like Padel or indoor soccer.

Joshua is an English tutor, Academic Coach, and Educational Leader with Genius Premium Tuition. He achieved 3 distinctions in matric at King Edward VII School. While studying for his BA in Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand, he continued to play first-team cricket and represented Gauteng at senior provincial level. In his free time, Josh enjoys running, going to the gym, playing guitar and reading fiction.

Kay-lee matriculated from Hoërskool Garsfontein with 6 distinctions and was awarded Top Achiever for both Drama and Academics. She went on to complete a BSc in Genetics and Psychology at Stellenbosch University, where she also served as Primaria (student president) of her residence. She is the former Head Girl of DaVinci International Film Academy and is fluent in both English and Afrikaans. Passionate about education and the arts, Kay-lee tutors Biology, English, Afrikaans, Science, History and Drama. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, tennis and golf.

She then completed a honours at UCT in Psychology and a BPsych Equivalent at the South African College of Applied Psychology. She is a Registered Counsellor and has a passion for working with children and adolescents. In her spare time Zahrah enjoys reading, getting out in nature, and baking.

She played first team Netball and was elected as head of house in her Matric year. Angela studied a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town where she was awarded Dean's List. She also qualified as a Foundation Phase teacher through UCT and went on to study her Honours in Psychology through the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP).

She then went on to study Psychometry at UJ and is currently registered under the HPCSA as a Psychometrist.

Bronwyn has taught Technology, Math, and English at Edenvale High School and around 200 hours of English and Academic Coaching with Genius Premium Tuition.

Elsa is passionate about health and nutrition, history, and sweet confectionary.

Erin matriculated from Crawford College Sandton with 9 distinctions and was awarded a white honours blazer and the Goldin Trophy for excellent academic, cultural, and sporting achievement. She went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA, where she graduated summa cum laude and co-founded the Southern African Student Association at UPenn. Passionate about the intersection of brain and behavior, Erin hopes to pursue a career as a clinical neuropsychologist in the future. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and cycling (anything outdoors), reading (especially historical fiction), trying new food and restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

In his spare time, he enjoys trail running, climbing and reading.

Sage attended Wynberg Girls' High School, and matriculated with 7 distinctions. In her Matric year, she was apart of the school council, holding the title of "Head of Sustainability". Furthermore, Sage was heavily involved in many cultural activities including choir, vocal ensemble, marimbas and drama. She was also the head of drama in her grade 11 and 12 year. After school, she attended UCT where she studied a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in English and Psychology (with distinction) and then went on to complete her Honours in Psychology (with distinction) also at UCT. Sage then went on to complete her PGCE in high school education at Varsity College specialising in English as her subject. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time exploring both the oceans and the mountains, as well as spending time on her couch exploring a good book.

Shae-lynn graduated from Meredith College, North Carolina in May 2025. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She attended Woodlands International College, matriculating in 2020 with 6 distinctions. Her favourite subject in school was History. In her free time she enjoys reading, keeping up with all her favourite TV shows and keeping active. As for hobbies, Shae played field hockey throughout school and university as a goalkeeper and is also a qualified scuba diver.

Shannon, began swimming competitively at age 9. Her swimming achievements earned her a scholarship that supported her high school education and allowed her to visit 16 countries. Shannon graduated from Southdowns College in 2018 with five distinctions. She then pursued a BA in Psychology at the University of Pretoria, graduating with distinction. Continuing her studies at the same institution, she earned a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys watching crime documentaries and training her pet rabbit, Henry.
