We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our tutoring service well, we never sell your information, and you can ask us at any time what we hold about you.
Who we are
Genius Premium Tuition provides one-on-one tutoring in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and online. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and how to reach us about it. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect when you enquire
When you send us an enquiry — through the form on this site, by phone, or by email — we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, preferred branch, location, school, what you need help with, and your message.
Your enquiry is delivered to our secure client-management system, where our Education Leaders use it to respond to you and, if you become a client, to run your tutoring programme. If your enquiry is not about tutoring (for example a job application or a school talk), it is routed to the right team by email instead.
Website measurement and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors find and use this site and whether our advertising works. If you arrive from an advert, Google attaches a click identifier to your visit; we store it (and campaign tags) in your browser and attach it to your enquiry so we can tell which advertising actually leads to enquiries.
If you submit the enquiry form, we may also share a securely hashed (unreadable) version of your email address and phone number with Google to improve the accuracy of that ad measurement — this is Google’s “enhanced conversions” feature. It is measurement only: we never sell your information, and we don’t give any advertiser your readable contact details.
How long we keep it, and your rights
Enquiry records are kept in our client-management system for as long as we have a business need — responding to you, running your programme, and our legal record-keeping duties. Advertising click identifiers stored in your browser expire after 90 days.
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Just email us — no forms, no fuss.
